Most all of us have had ideas to instantly pop into our minds and then within minutes that idea is transformed into another idea which continues to get transformed again and again.  The idea mutates from one thing to another.  The end result is either something brilliant, wonderful, or just plain crazy.  And of course there is no end to the idea, it will get picked up in your mind at a later date and will begin to mutate again.
